The pleasant moments spent on a holiday at the Vranov Dam undoubtedly include good food and drink. In 2010, we opened the stylish restaurant GAUDEO. In Latin, “gaudeo” means joy, rejoicing or enjoyment.

In our restaurant you will employ all your senses. Your eye will not only be delighted by the beautiful view of the lake and the beach, but also by the modern style of the restaurant and the way of serving dishes. Your taste senses will be pleased not only by selected tastes of specialities prepared by our chefs, but also by a wide range of wines from leading South Moravian winemakers. After a day spent hiking or riding around, you can relax on the terrace at sunset, enjoying the scents of grilled steaks and fish. In the middle of the beautiful scenery you will find imaginative gastronomy, placing emphasis on quality raw materials and the way of serving dishes.

The restaurant has a capacity of 100 seats, of which 30 seats offer a spacious terrace overlooking the camp and the lake. Pleasant service always strives to meet the wishes of our guests. We will be glad if you visit us and try ourselves the quality of our services. Our goals are satisfied customer, favourable price and unique gastronomic experience.

Menu

When setting up a menu, we place the emphasis on preparing the dishes from quality and fresh ingredients. We try our best to use seasonal raw materials, therefore changing the menu several times a year.

Steak-lovers are welcome as well as people who prefer light meals. Also, we have not forgotten about the children for whom we have prepared a special children's menu. In the summer months, fresh fish is included in the menu, as well as grilled specialties every weekend.

The restaurant is open for you from April until the end of October. In April, May and October only at weekends. From June until the end of September, you can eat and drink well every day.
